TNA Final Resolution 2010 Review

Beer Money defeated Ink Inc

Not exactly what I would've expected from the opening match at a ppv, but this match haed a few moments of good overall amount of wrestling. I liked the chemistry in ring, but I didn't care for the lack of storyline here. Beer Money would eventually get the pin, and that was that. It was a forgettable match up.

Tara defeated Mickie James in a falls count anywhere match

I've seen a lot of "Falls Count Anywhere" matches, and some of them have been good. I've seen some terrible matches with the stipulation as well, and this match was the worst of them all. The worst women's wrestling match I've ever seen, seriously, this match was stupid. It went throughout a great deal of the arena, and the two just brawled, straight into the toilet! There was a guy reading the paper at one point, that was kind of funny, but other than that, this was stupid, the worst match I've seen in a long time. Madison Rayne was in one of the stalls and used a fire extinguisher to help Tara win the match up. Terrible Terrible match...Mickie James gets pinned on the men's room floor!

Robbie E defeated Jay Lethal w/ Cookie In A Cage Above Ringside via disqualification

Robbie E and Jay Lethal can string across a watchable match, despite the lame gimmick. I liked the match for what it was, and there were some nice back and forth moments. Lethal's offense complimented Robbie's style from time to time, and it was interesting to see Cookie above the ring in a cage as a nice throwback to the old school wrestling. At one point, Jay Lethal crashed into Robbie E and this match turned bad. Robbie E was thrown a chain then some hair spray and Jay Lethal was disqualified Lethal for using some hairspray...yep...dq finish.

Out of nowhere, Shark Boy came out. That's right, Shark Boy came out. Shark Boy got slapped by Cookie, but eventually hit a Shark Boy Stunner and that was that.

RVD defeated Rhino in a first blood match

One of the worst matches I've seen on ppv in a while. RVD looked winded within 5 to 10 minutes of this match, Rhino took some offense and gave RVD an ok match up, but overall, this match just wasn't that fun to watch. It was just boring to me. RVD hit a Van Terminator from across the ring and Rhino was busted open, and that was the end of the match up. Yep. RVD wins, and I'm not sure why anyone would care.

Douglas Williams defeated Aj Styles for the Television Title

These two have a good amount of offense, and I think that the two could've made this a four start classic. Instead, this match had a lot of boring moments, and then some of the BEST moves outside the ring I've seen. Doug Williams hit Rolling Chaos on the outside! This match looked like a video game at one point and I was just completely immersed, towards the end of the match. Aj STyles would eventually fall to Williams when Williams hit a Styles Clash on AJ! Doug wins and is the new champion! Not a four star classic, but a good finish, and some nice sequences, hopefully the booking gets better from here on out because Doug Williams has some nice moves in his stable.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Generation Me

I can't believe that these types of matches only happen in TNA, that being said, this was an insane amount of independent style wrestling on a ppv. The two teams fought and hit moves from off teh top rope, off of ladders and a variety of different points, making this spot fest entertaining. THe two really just put on a circus of moves for the tag titles that wasn't half bad, but there were some moments that just seemed too cartoonish for even wrestling. A three star match was found here, and I liked it enough, even if Generation Me didn't win.

Abyss defeated The Pope

THe worst downfall in the history of wrestling has to be the fall of The Black Pope. He was doing quite well going into this February's ppv, and now? He's feuding with the worst wrestler in the world, Abyss in a Casket Match? Ugh. This match was stupid, it was void of anything worth mentioning. This was just stupid, I didn't want to watch it, and when The Pope was chokeslammed into the casket and the lid was shut, I finally cared. Yes, I cared because it was over, and I was hoping NEVER TO SEE THE POPE VS ABYSS AGAIN! What a waste of Pope, and what a terrible wrestler Abyss is...I hate him.

Jeff Jarrett defeated Samoa Joe in a submission match

I didn't think that TNA's ppv could get any worst, than this match happened. Jeff Jarrett and Samoa Joe in a submission match? This was just the worst match I've seen in a long time. I really hated it, and the crowd hated it too. Joe sucks these days, Jarrett sucks too, and I was just tired of this match at various points. Jarrett was going to tap, but the TNA security guys ran down and helped Double J. Jarrett then put an Ankle Lock on Joe and guess what? SAMOA JOE QUIT! That's right, DOUBLE J goes over....ugh..what a bunch of bs.

Jeff Hardy defeated Matt Morgan w/ special guest Ken Anderson

This match had a lot of moments that got me interested, but overall, it just wasn't a great match. Anderson called this thing down the middle, and Morgan had this thing won at several points during the match. Anderson got knocked out of the ring and was down while Morgan pinned Hardy after a Carbon Footprint. Bischoff came down and threw Anderson into a post and Bischoff got a new ref for the match. This thing was headed into no man's land, as Morgan looked poised to lose to Hardy and the cheaters. A new ref was in...Morgan was in control, and there was only 3 minutes left, I pegged Morgan to win, but I kind of senses that I was wrong. Hardy hit a Twist of Hate into a chair and won the match. Yep, Hardy wins again...in one of the worst matches I've seen in a long time. Hardy wins...ugh....TNA Sucks.

Someone buy out Tna.

TNA Turning Point 2010 PPV Results

Robbie E defeated Jay Lethal in the x division championship match
Tara vs. Mickie James (no contest)
The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Team 3D
RVD defeated Tommy Dreamer
Fortune defeated EV2.0
Abyss defeated The Pope
Jeff Jarrett defeated Samoa Joe
Jeff Hardy defeated Matt Morgan

TNA Turning Point 2010 PPV Review

I'm late on this one, but that's ok...I think.

Robbie E defeated Jay Lethal in the x division championship match

I kind of miss the "Black Machismo" gimmick. However, I'll settle for this "cruiserweight" Jay, as many of us must do. The match really favored Robbie E in this match, he was generating a lot of heat with his offense. When he slapped on the Abdominal Stretch, the crowd was all over him in terms of heat, and a lot of other points featured the crowd crapping on the Jersey Shore knockoff. Jay Lethal had some offense, but after a distraction from Cookie, Robbie E hit his neckbreaker (rude awakening) and won the match up. He is now the new X-Division champion.

The match was ok. I'm not a big fan of "hot shotting" the title to a new comer, but I'm ok with it. Hopefully Robbie E could make the belt mean more, and have legit competition. His character based gimmick could actually work out quite well.

Tara vs. Mickie James (no contest)

This match was either double countout or simply no contest. The women fought from the ring to the outside, and just kept fighting. This wasn't a match as much as it was a brawl. It eventually turned into a street fight. It was ok, but I'm tired of the "Hardcore Country" gimmic. I didn't love the match, but I also didn't hate it, so I guess it passes.

The two ended up in the middle of the ring, after the match just fighting and in the end...stripping each other's clothes off?!? Yeah, the segment ended oddly, and I'm not sure where they were going with it...I'm sure the feud will eventually come to more matches.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Team 3D

This match was billed as Team 3D's last match. It was back and forth, with lots of counters, lots of different momentum changes, lots of hits and misses, and heavy impact moves from both teams. Every big move was kicked out of, every big move was hit, and towards the end the story became, "no one has ever kicked out of 3D" and of course, that was over...as the Machine Guns picked up the win and that was it...I guess that's the end of Team 3D? ok.

I read that Team 3D just signed new 3 year contracts, so I'm not sure what's next for that team. Single's Competition? Road Agents? I don't know.

RVD defeated Tommy Dreamer

This match was painful to watch. These two are way past their prime and each of them showed signs of aging. The match eventually was won by RVD, with little to no fan fare. I didn't care of this match, and it just looked tiring. I'm tired of watching these idiots...I don't even know what it proved.

Fortune defeated EV2.0

This match sucked...another parade of "old men". Sabu was pinned and this match was over. Sabu is fired, I guess. This match was boring, and sucked. Sorry, it just didn't have a lot to it, and this Fortune & Immortan thing is so confusing. Plus, who kidnapped Samoa Joe? Just sayin.

Abyss defeated The Pope

The Pope got a lot of offense against Abyss, but that didn't matter. No one cared...at least I didn't. Abyss wins...again. I'm sick of Abyss, he's the worst character/wrestler going in TNA today. The Pope had his "congregation" at ringside, and Eric Bischoff got them to turn on Pope and beat him up. That was that.

No one cares.

FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS!

Jeff Jarrett defeated Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe losees, this sucks. Joe got choked out with a night stick, and the security guys helped Double J win. There was a ref bump, there were a few moments that were ok, but overall...Joe gets buried. I hate this, you hate this, ugh...they sucked the life out of TNA's ppv tonight.

Jeff Hardy defeated Matt Morgan

Not exactly a four star classic, but it was watchable. Matt Morgan put up a good overall fight, but he couldn't take out Hardy for too long and Hardy managed to pick up a victory. NO ONE CARED! Hardy worked on Morgan's knee, and Morgan no sold much of it. A twist of fate got the win...who cares....I'm sick of TNA.

Tna Impact 12/9/10 Results and Review

Tna Impact 12/9/10 Results

Ink Inc defeated Team 3D
The Motor City Machine Guns defeated The Security Guys via dq
The Beautiful People defeated Sarita & Daffney
Douglas Williams defeated Abyss
Mickie James defeated Tara in a Steel Cage Match

Tna Impact 12/9/10 Review

Impact opens up with Bischoff yelling...I already felt like going back to sleep.

Immortal or Fortune or whatever, came into the ring. OUt came Matt Morgan with a pipe, and nothing happened. Eric Bischoff said that nothing was going on...and what not. I didn't care, you didn't care....ugh...I'm tired.

Ink Inc defeated Team 3D

There is a new "Devon" in this match with Bubba Ray. Ink Inc wins this one, and Devon 2 got beat up for the loss. This was seriously a boring match. It was so boring that even the crowd was dead, completely dead for this.

Post match, Bubba beat up the new Devon.

Tara was "singing" her song or something, and out came Mickie James to beat her up. Yep, same thing that happened last week. I'm sick of this feud.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated The Security Guys

This match sucked. The Security guys beat up the Motor City Machine guns, got disqualified. The security guys eventually were beaten up with sticks...ugh...what a terrible match.

The Beautiful People defeated Sarita & Daffney

This match was terrible, I can't tell you how bad it was. I love Daffney, but this match wasn't even a "wrestling" match, it was just a terrible example of how the Knockout division has fallen to near "diva" status. The Beautiful People move on in the women's tag title tournament.

Douglas Williams defeated Abyss

Williams wins an easy match against Abyss, and retains his belt. Abyss ripped a turnbuckle off, only to run right into it and then get rolled up. No one cared, I still hate Abyss.

Post match, Styles hit a Styles clash on Williams on the ramp.

Jeff Jarrett beat up some random fan. It was stupid.

Mickie James defeated Tara in a steel cage match

This was an interesting match, the cage adds a lot to the match up. Mickie James at one point climbed to the top rope and launched herself off the top of the cage and completely killed Tara. It looked liked Mickie James broke her knee in the process, but she dove off the top of the cage and pinned Tara. I don't think it was worth it, but it looked awesome. The highlight of the night was definitely Mickie James jumping off the top of the cage and hitting Tara with a Lou Thesz press and getting the roll up. Other than that, this night was terrible.

WWE Superstars 11/25/10 Results and Review

WWE Superstars 11/25/10 Results

Curt Hawkins defeated Trent Barretta
Santino & Kozlov defeated Primo & Zack Ryder
Mark Henry defeated The Usos

WWE Superstars 11/25/10 Review

I'm not a big fan of thanksgiving, so therefore, I watched wrestling last night. Plus, with no job, no prospects, and fighting depression, i've been a bit tired of the joyful cheer of the season that is coming.

Superstars aired on Thanksgiving, and wow...maybe I already saw all this, or maybe it's new...who knows...the dubbed in heat and cheers suck.

Curt Hawkins defeated Trent Barretta

This match had a lot of highlights and good overall spots. I liked it, I thought this match was in fact the most entertaining thing I've seen in a while. However, despite a great deal of high impact spots, and good overall wrestling, it had no meaning and no real story behind it, other than the rematch thing. I liked it, it is nice to see some good classic wrestling.

Santino & Kozlov defeated Primo & Zack Ryder

I liked that Zack Ryder was being used for a match, but it was all a job. Santino and Kozlov get the win and the good crowd reaction. The Cobra is the thing that knocked out Primo, and he took the pinfall here. I wouldn't be too surprised if Santino and Kozlov eventually get the tag team championships, because they are just that entertaining, and get a real reaction, more so than the current champions, that's for sure.

Mark Henry defeated The Usos

The Usos put on a few moves, but it was no match for Mark Henry. Mark Henry beat the former contenders for the Tag team titles, and it was interesting to see that Henry is being pushed to squash the tag division. The match was what you would expect, but hey, on Thanksgiving day, it's nice to get some wrestling.

All in all, not a terrible show, not a great one either, I liked it enough. Good overall wrestling, nothing too extreme, and well, it's thanksgiving, what did you expect? I'll have an impact review a little later in the day.

WWE Superstars 12/3/10 Results and Review

WWE Superstars 12/3/10 Results

Tyler Reks defeated Trent Berretta
William Regal defeated Darren Young
Tyson Kidd defeated DH Smith

WWE Superstars 12/3/10 Review

Another week of Thursday night wrestling, and I'm not as tired as I usually am. It's probably because I have no job, so I can sleep more often.

Here is how things went down, on the least watched wrestling show aside from Impact.

Tyler Reks defeated Trent Berretta

Tyler Reks and Trent Berretta really went out there and fought hard for this one, even if no one cared. I can't get behind either guy here. The match had a few moments that looked good, especially with the high flyer getting the best of the monster, but overall, the end wasn't that great with a torture rack into a slam of sorts. Tyler Reks eventually outlasted Trent and won.

The two have talent, but I don't care about either one's character, so eh...I didn't really care for the match, I guess.

NXT Season 3's winner was announced, and the winner of NXT is:

Kaitlyn

No one cared, especially me.

William Regal defeated Darren Young

Darren Young completely beat down Darren Young again. Young has been getting better each and every week, but wow, Regal really put him away. The Regal Stretch looked really good, and Young is on his way out, he's just on his way out.

CM Punk was on the mic with the new guy, and it was good overall. I liked it a lot, and hope Darren Young is the wild card in the Nexus angle in coming weeks.

Tyson Kidd defeated DH Smith

This match was given some time, but it wasn't all that great. I was actually bored a few times during this match, despite the two of them working well together. The match had a few high spots, but neither man has the charisma that their family has, so it's going to take some time to build on obvious in ring talent. The two are done, I guess...or rather, the tag team is done.
